Traveler’s Rest Stop is a faith-based life recovery home created to provide a safe, loving environment where individuals can heal from life’s traumas and struggles, grow in their faith, and begin moving forward into purpose and destiny.
Traveler’s Rest Stop is for men and women who are ready for change, healing, personal growth, and a new direction in life. Each individual will go through an intake process to help determine whether Traveler’s Rest Stop is the right place for their journey.
The standard stay is six months, because we believe healing takes Grace, Truth, and Time. Depending on individual circumstances and needs, there may be opportunities to continue beyond the initial six months.
There is no cost to the Traveler during the first six months. Our desire is to give each person the opportunity to focus on healing and rebuilding their life without the added pressure of paying for their stay.
Travelers will not have outside employment during their first six months. This time is intentionally set aside for healing, Bible study, counseling, community service, personal growth, and preparing for the next season of life.
Traveler’s Rest Stop is faith-based, and biblical truth, prayer, Bible study, and spiritual growth are part of everyday life in the home. We welcome individuals who are willing to participate in this environment and are open to the healing journey.
Traveler’s Rest Stop is being established in the Upstate South Carolina area, with plans for our first residential homes in Anderson County. We are not limited to serving individuals from Anderson County and may welcome eligible Travelers from other communities and states.
There are many ways to become part of the vision. You can pray with us, give financially, donate needed items, volunteer your time or talents, become an Encourager, or simply share Traveler’s Rest Stop with others.
